Healing Begins Here
Therapy for TRAUMa & Insomnia in Rockville, Maryland & WASHINGTON, DC
Hi, I’m Erin
Trauma Therapist & Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Whether you’re new to therapy or have tried it before and still feel stuck, I offer more than just talk. My approach integrates EMDR, somatic therapy, and behavioral sleep medicine to support meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adults who appear capable and put-together on the outside, yet feel stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by patterns like people-pleasing and low self-worth.
I specialize in trauma and chronic insomnia, helping you process past experiences, build self-trust, and feel more grounded and at ease in your daily life.
If you’re ready for therapy that goes beyond coping and helps things truly shift, you’re in the right place.

-
Insomnia
Insomnia can look like trouble falling asleep, waking up often during the night, or waking up too early and not being able to fall back asleep. Over time, this can leave you feeling exhausted, stressed, and stuck in a cycle of poor sleep.Chronic Nightmares
Chronic nightmares are repeated, upsetting dreams that make it hard to get restful sleep. Sometimes they’re connected to trauma, flashbacks, or triggers, and can even cause people to dread or avoid going to sleep altogether. -
Depression can feel like a heavy weight—low mood, loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, changes in sleep or appetite, and a sense of hopelessness or exhaustion that makes daily life harder.
-
Low self-esteem often shows up as feeling “not good enough,” doubting yourself, or being overly critical of your mistakes. It can make it hard to trust your own decisions, set boundaries, or feel confident in relationships, work, or daily life. Over time, this can leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from your true worth.
-
Self-harm is often used as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions or numb difficult feelings. While it may bring temporary relief, it can also create shame, secrecy, and more pain over time.
